He creates abstract works which explore the metaphysical and the unknown

For our second podcast featured on Not Supposed To Know, we'd like to welcome one of our founders Rob White. Rob lives and works in Mid-Wales UK, his practice is primarily focused on landscape, memory, mortality and loss. He has spent considerable time in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal and the Karakoram range in Northern Pakistan trekking through vast and bewildering landscapes. These spaces and places were not only captured visually but also in detailed travel journals. He creates abstract works based on his travel writing and from memory. Recently his practice has reflected upon personal experiences involving grief and loss. In this interview, he talks in-depth about how his landscape-based work has influenced his current and most recent explorations.
