He can often be found spending an inordinate amount of time among standing stones and burial mounds

Jack is an archaeologist based in Mid Wales. He has worked across Wales, mostly in community engagement and outreach. He's currently studying for a PhD in Archaeology with the research title "Exploring human movement on and around Neolithic landscapes in Western Britain". In doing so, he is seeking out the paths and routeways that people might have taken in prehistory and how they negotiated their surroundings, with a hope of determining the extent to which these paths, routeways, and the act of moving along them (or even straying from them) influenced the development of ceremonial landscapes and the varied monuments they contain. He can often be found spending an inordinate amount of time among standing stones and burial mounds, kicking over molehills in search of lithics.
