Films screened at Seeing In The Dark exhibition, Bath Fringe 2024.


In this Not Supposed To Know podcast, Billie Ireland and Rob White give an in-depth talk about their grief related animated films. Their films were exhibited in the Seeing In The Dark show, curated by Inga Burrows, as part of the Bath Fringe Festival 2024.

The programme of short films illuminated how contemporary artist-filmmakers, from culturally diverse backgrounds, respond creatively to their own, and others’ experiences of loss and grief. Each film offered a unique insight into this universal experience of complex emotions, the films varyied in duration from 48 seconds to 16 minutes were probing, inventive, insightful, moving and ultimately uplifting.
